The recent investigation was carried out as part of the internet researcher's efforts to determine the ability of various nations to include metaverse. The researcher for the telephone company analyzed blockchain finance companies, the pricing of premium tech exports, as well as the prices and speeds of broadband internet service.

According to the findings of the study, Europe is in the lead when it comes to establishing conditions that are conducive to welcoming and cultivating metaverse technology. According to Uswitch, the preparedness of the Netherlands is significantly underscored by the country's higher fixed broadband speeds, which average 106.5Mbps. According to the results of the survey, the average amount of high-tech goods exported by the Netherlands is almost $6,000 per person. The greater technological standards of the country mirrored the increased interest shown by customers in the metaverse in an earlier study carried out by Capgemini.

The readiness of Switzerland and Malta is further cemented

The same pattern continues with Switzerland taking the second spot, ahead of both Lithuania and Malta. In addition, France has joined the ranks of the top five countries that have shown interest in the Web3 space. Because of its decades-long dedication to developing into the blockchain hub of the region, Malta was singled out by Uswitch as a particularly noteworthy participant in the metaverse.

Surprisingly, the United Kingdom came in at number seven, one spot higher than the United States, which lagged behind at number twelve despite being viewed as an active participant in the development of metaverse ecosystems.

Managing the Recent Uncertainty in the Market

USwitch noticed that the turmoil that has been occurring in the cryptocurrency market has not slowed down the development projects that are taking place in the Web3 ecosystem. In particular, investors have declared their intention to embark on significant projects.

In a message dated December 6, Animoca Brands revealed that it has acquired a majority ownership stake in Pixelynx. It was announced by Animoca that the acquisition will make Web3 integration with gaming technologies easier. A few days later, Animoca announced that it would be establishing a fund with one billion dollars to invest in firms that were planning to work on metaverse projects.

Similar attempts may be seen in the Facebook parent company known as Meta, which has revealed a rekindled interest in projects related to the metaverse. Mark Zuckerberg, the company's chief executive, disregarded the company's financial losses as a potential barrier in order to reassure the Meta community of his commitment to developing a metaverse-based platform.
